2027 Summer Intern - Commercial Banking and Commercial Real Estate (Finance)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. The work arrangement and proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

Salary: $25.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Support credit analysis, financial analysis, credit reviews, and report preparation.
• Assist Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, and other partners with client service and project delivery.
• Conduct market research, data cleanup, and business case reviews.
• Contribute to data management and process improvement initiatives.
• Learn banking systems, tools, and processes while applying feedback and maintaining accurate deliverables.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma program in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
• Analytical, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with information.
• Confidence using spreadsheets and data management tools, including Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial analysis is an asset.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
