Federal Tax Services Intern - Real Estate - Summer 2027 (Real Estate)

Location: Phoenix, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required

What you will do

• Work on tax engagements covering accounting for income taxes, accounting methods and periods, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entities, private clients, and nonprofit organizations.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Interpret tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and support client service work.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours.
• Be working toward a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Major in accounting.
• Travel to assigned client locations and access to reliable transportation are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, computer, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
