Principal Full Stack Developer (React/Next.js)

What you will do

• Define and maintain the technical architecture for guest-facing web platforms, mobile integration layers, and APIs.
• Set coding conventions, code review practices, branching strategies, and release processes.
• Make technology decisions, document architecture through ADRs, and lead technical discovery for new features and integrations.
• Contribute hands-on across front-end and back-end layers for approximately 50% of the time.
• Review significant pull requests, address technical debt, and evaluate third-party tools, APIs, and services.
• Provide technical guidance and elevate team capability through pairing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a principal, staff, or lead architect capacity.
• Deep expertise in React and Next.js, with strong back-end proficiency in Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs and making architectural decisions for cloud-hosted, production-scale applications; AWS is preferred.
• Experience defining engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating CRM, CMS, booking, or customer data platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; the role is located in Argentina.

Nice to have

• Experience with hospitality, travel, cruise, or luxury consumer digital platforms.
• Familiarity with Drupal CMS and headless or decoupled architecture patterns.
• React Native experience, AWS Solutions Architect certification, or experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Open-source contributions or a strong public portfolio.
