Family Engagement Specialist (26-27)

What you will do

• Orient new and existing families to attendance expectations, make daily attendance calls, document changes, and provide additional attendance support.
• Participate in attendance check-ins with school leadership and share relevant family context.
• Support school-based re-enrollment, application verification, student transitions, and attrition reporting.
• Plan and support school events, parent involvement programs, and family engagement activities.
• Coordinate translations, parent meetings, family-facing materials, photographs, videos, and school communication platforms.
• Build relationships with community partners and review parent and student feedback with school leadership.

Requirements

• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required.
• Commitment to the organization’s mission, values, and support of students, families, and staff.
• Strong project and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience managing and entering data.
• Customer service mindset, urgency, proactive problem-solving, and sound decision-making.
• Ability to establish relationships and communicate effectively.
