What you will do
- Evolve, scale, and optimize the cloud-agnostic platform infrastructure powering Vault globally.
- Build control planes and automation that abstract infrastructure complexity for engineers and bank SREs.
- Design fault-tolerant architectures and disaster recovery and business continuity systems.
- Improve observability tools using monitoring and telemetry integrations across the product ecosystem.
- Scale and optimize databases and event-streaming platforms for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and scaling infrastructure platforms.
- Production platform tooling experience with Python or Golang.
- Strong understanding of container and orchestration internals, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Hands-on experience extending and integrating Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or similar open-source tools.
- Experience packaging and scaling developer-facing infrastructure utilities with a focus on system reliability.
Nice to have
- Experience building cloud-agnostic solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Technical depth in databases or event-streaming platforms such as Kafka, Postgres, or DuckDB.
- Professional experience troubleshooting, extending, or optimizing infrastructure tool internals.
