Associate Director of Quality Assurance (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; preferred locations include Arlington, VA; Louisville, KY; Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Tampa, FL; Nashville, TN; Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA; Denver, CO; and Fort Lauderdale, FL. Periodic in-office attendance and travel to hirify.global offices may be required.

Salary: $126,300–$173,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead quality assurance strategy and governance for the Creative and Content team.
• Establish standards, checklists, documentation, reporting practices, and escalation paths to reduce defects, rework, and delivery delays.
• Partner with intake, account, creative, operations, compliance, legal, and business leaders to identify risks and support compliant, on-brand work.
• Lead and develop a team of proofreaders, setting priorities and coaching for accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor quality trends and recurring issues, translating findings into process improvements, training, and leadership recommendations.
• Guide teams on intake expectations, quality criteria, governance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, proofreading, regulated communications, marketing operations, creative operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience leading associates, managing direct reports, or directing cross-functional quality assurance, creative operations, or regulated communications workstreams.
• Experience creating, scaling, or governing quality standards, style guidance, consistency guidelines, checklists, and review practices in a complex organization.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across business, creative, operations, compliance, or legal teams to resolve issues, manage risk, and improve creative consistency.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States, with a dedicated workspace that protects member PHI/HIPAA information.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience improving marketing, creative, content, or agency intake, scoping, routing, and review workflows.
• Knowledge of compliance, accessibility, brand governance, privacy, approval requirements, and risk controls for customer-facing communications.
• Experience with Workfront, Aprimo, Microsoft 365, or similar workflow, project management, reporting, or collaboration tools.
