Solution Engineer - Connectivity Mid (IIoT)

What you will do

• Support the design, development, and rollout of machine connectivity solutions bridging the IT/OT layer.
• Contribute to R&D activities involving IIoT, Edge, and Cloud computing.
• Develop connectivity blueprints, integration guides, project reports, and training materials.
• Co-organize workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions on IT/OT integration.
• Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams on project planning, execution, and rollout.
• Provide technical and administrative support to the Center of Excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of IIoT, Cloud, and Edge computing, preferably in an industrial IT/OT context.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Customer-centric approach and readiness to learn an Edge and IIoT technology stack.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Docker and containerized application experience.
• Experience with Azure or similar Cloud platforms.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, Ethernet/IP, and MQTT.
• Computer networking and Linux administration experience.
