Senior Data Analyst (PySpark)

What you will do

• Own custom recurring data feeds from requirements definition through delivery and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop methodologies and acceptance criteria for new metrics.
• Build reproducible, tested production pipelines in PySpark on Databricks, orchestrated with Airflow and Terraform.
• Partner with Solution Engineers, customer-facing teams, R&D, and Data Science on timelines, methodology, feedback, and data reuse.
• Create reusable components, packages, models, and metrics for future data products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data research with large-scale datasets.
• 3+ years of hands-on Python and PySpark experience at scale, with performance awareness.
• Strong applied statistics knowledge covering sampling, estimation, bias, coverage, significance, and uncertainty.
• Experience owning data quality through metrics and dataset validation.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, with the judgment to verify or discard generated output.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to present to customers, work independently across multiple teams, and meet tight deadlines. A B.Sc. in a quantitative field is required; M.Sc., MBA, or academic research experience is advantageous.
