Backend Engineer (Data) - Attribute™ (AI)

What you will do

• Co-own parts of the product roadmap and backlog, helping define and scope future capabilities.
• Design, specify, implement, and maintain new features for Attribute™.
• Build and operate ETL processes and data pipelines for a SaaS production cloud environment.
• Review pull requests and contribute to code quality and engineering standards.
• Improve codebase health and reduce technical debt through regular housekeeping.
• Collaborate with Product and Frontend teams to identify challenges and provide feedback early.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of practical experience with Python, Spark, and PySpark.
• Experience building ETL processes and working with big-data technologies such as Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD methodologies, and production data pipelines in a SaaS cloud environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, independent-contributor, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work fully on-site from the Attribute office in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Nice to have

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with C++ or C#.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
