Branch Operations Assistant (Automotive Auctions)

What you will do

• Respond to customer and branch inquiries by phone, mail, and in person.
• Process orders, assignments, pricing and delivery information, data entry, filing, and other clerical work.
• Prepare auction-day paperwork, obtain approvals, and support automobile titling activities.
• Check in vehicles, record and file vehicle information, clean vehicles, and improve their presentation for auction.
• Safely move passenger vehicles around the facility and perform loader and yard operations.
• Guide visitors, report policy violations, and support Yard Attendants, Loader Operators, and Customer Service Representatives.

Requirements

• Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
• Strong leadership, time management, problem-solving, independent-work, and professional communication skills.
• General mechanical knowledge of vehicle makes and models.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including above-average Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation within 90 days of starting; previous forklift or loader experience is relevant.
• Ability to remain alert around heavy equipment and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Experience in equipment rental, construction, or a related field.
• Basic automotive repair skills.
