Senior Network Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Plan, design, implement, maintain, and optimize the company network infrastructure.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into clear network solutions.
• Produce network design documentation, implementation plans, financial models, engineering plans, installation plans, reports, and configuration documentation.
• Execute implementation plans with minimal business impact and oversee implementations for compliance with security policies.
• Develop standards-based, secure, scalable network architecture and introduce new network technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in network architecture or engineering, with subject matter expert-level responsibility.
• At least 2 years of experience with Azure services.

Nice to have

• Expert knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
• Expert knowledge of Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS).
• Expert knowledge and hands-on execution with Cisco, Palo Alto, and other network security solutions.
• Knowledge of telecommunications and data communications technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based networking, including Azure.
