Computer Vision consultant/developer (Deep Learning)

Salary is up to 10000 euro net

Relocation to Austria (Vienna) is MUST

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
The IAEA is the world’s centre for cooperation for safe, secure and peaceful uses of nuclear technologies. It was established in 1957 and is an autonomous international organization within the United Nations system. Approximately 2300 scientists, technical and administration personnel from over 100 countries work at the Secretariat, implementing the IAEA’s programmes. The IAEA has six departments covering the fields of Nuclear Safety and Security, Nuclear Sciences and Applications, Nuclear Energy, Technical Cooperation, Management and Safeguards. The IAEA also has additional locations in Seibersdorf (Austria), Monaco, Trieste, New York, Tokyo, and Toronto.
 
Expert knowledge of (7+ years)
1. Developing Deep Learning Solutions for processing image data (convolutional
networks) -4+years
2. Knowledge of models for real-time object detection and image segmentation
(e.g., YOLO, SAM)
3. Major AI software frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow and model formats like
ONNX
4. Design and implementation of data processing pipelines
5. Developing complex software packages using Python applying software engineering
Principles (7+ years)
 
Experience with
1. Building REST backends to integrate into Enterprise solution
2. ClearML or similar platforms for streamlining AI development and deployment
Familiarity with:
1. Windows and Linux operating systems
2. Git source control
 
Other:
1. University degree in Software engineering or related field
2. Hands-on mentality and fast-prototyping skills to evaluate new technologies and
model approaches
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills; candidate needs to communicate
with users, business analysts, subject-matter experts, IT security experts and
inspectors
