Elevator Service Technician (Elevator Technology)

Location: Amsterdam region, Netherlands; field-based service work at customer sites.

Salary: €3,200–€4,500 gross per month

What you will do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on a variety of elevator installations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform minor repairs and modifications.
• Organize daily service schedules and routes independently.
• Identify elevator technology issues and resolve them professionally.
• Communicate with customers and represent the organization at service locations.
• Keep installations safe, reliable, and operational.

Requirements

• MBO-level technical education or equivalent, preferably in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrable professional experience in elevator technology, including service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and remain solution-oriented under pressure.
• Customer-focused communication skills and a professional approach.
• Valid category B driving licence.
• VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one; safety must always be prioritized.
