Associate Corporate Counsel, General Litigation

Publicly traded technology company operating as a regulated gaming business.

What you will do

• Assess lawsuits, demand letters, customer complaints, and other actual or potential legal threats.
• Gather facts, analyze legal issues, and support response strategies and litigation matters through resolution.
• Draft and review court filings with outside counsel and help resolve disputes with opposing counsel.
• Partner with internal teams to identify litigation risks and develop strategies to address exposure.
• Represent the company in small claims court and support investigations and regulatory inquiries.
• Provide practical legal guidance on business issues and communicate potential risks clearly.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably at a law firm; in-house experience is a plus.
• Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility for admission as in-house counsel in Massachusetts.
• Practical approach to legal analysis, risk assessment, and solution development.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Gaming license issuance by the appropriate state agency may be required as a condition of employment.
