Senior BMS Design Engineer (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Deliver BMS system designs for complex industrial and regulated facilities.
• Manage client interfaces and BMS integrators throughout project delivery.
• Develop I/O lists, sequences of operations, system architectures, software functional specifications, and hardware specifications.
• Support commissioning activities, including installation and operational verification, alarm testing, loop checks, SOP writing, and FAT/SAT execution.
• Review panel wiring diagrams, test documentation, instrumentation designs, and cost estimates.
• Lead commissioning resources, participate in design and project meetings, and resolve technical issues with engineers, contractors, quality teams, and plant managers.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in BMS design and commissioning.
• Level 8 university engineering degree with at least five years of relevant experience, or a technical diploma/apprenticeship with six or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, health-related, or GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of BMS, network configuration, computer hardware and software, and automation applications.
• Understanding of current GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, 21 CFR 210 and 211, and Annex 11.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
