Software Engineer (Java/Go)

What you will do

• Develop Cato’s high-profile security products.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade, high-scale, high-volume processing services.
• Research emerging technologies and adapt them for product use.
• Address architectural and engineering challenges across inline and out-of-band security.
• Collaborate with development, product, automation, SRE, and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience.
• Professional experience with Java, Go, Spring Boot, and GraphQL.
• Experience building and operating high-scale SaaS microservices in production.
• Experience testing services using continuous integration methodology.
• Ability to handle basic frontend tasks.
• Degree in Computer Science or a similar qualification, plus strong problem-solving skills and independence.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar tools.
• Experience designing and implementing security products.
• Experience with large monitoring and analytics projects.
