TL;DR
Software Engineer II - Analyst (.NET/C#): Developing and maintaining software modules and platform components for insurance, life, and annuities use cases with an accent on .NET application development, database performance, and maintainable architecture. Focus on analyzing requirements, designing and unit testing C# code, debugging production issues, and supporting multiple client projects in Agile teams.
Location: Jaipur, India; office-based four days per week with remote work available one day on Friday

What you will do
- Analyze user stories, functional requirements, business use cases, and user needs.
- Design, develop, document, maintain, and unit test software modules and platform components.
- Manage assigned work across multiple clients or projects, including estimates, status updates, and delivery ownership.
- Participate in story grooming, technical discussions, troubleshooting, production deployments, and issue resolution.
- Debug application errors, maintain defect and change tracking, and contribute to process improvements.
- Build domain expertise in insurance, life, and annuities products.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, including ASP.NET and Entity Framework.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL systems, and complex query development.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, application security, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Agile Scrum, SDLC practices, unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or MSTest, and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with version control, issue tracking, and CI/CD tools and practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with Angular or React.
- Prior insurance, life, and annuities domain knowledge.
