C++ Developer (IST/Switch)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications in C++.
• Build and enhance software supporting IST/Switch, payment switching and processing, and ISO 8583 messaging.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, architecture components, and detailed specifications.
• Debug defects, optimize system performance, and support deployment, implementation, and maintenance.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to architecture decisions, and promote engineering quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with C++.
• Good experience with IST/Switch, payment switching or processing, and ISO 8583 messaging.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and optimizing complex enterprise applications.
• Experience with Agile, iterative, and waterfall software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of networking, operating systems, databases, middleware, and distributed systems.
• Experience with C++ performance tuning, multithreading, and concurrent programming.
• Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to technical leadership initiatives.
