Brokerage Operations Intern (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL office; in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Salary: $28 per hour

What you will do

• Learn brokerage operations across Robinhood Financial and Robinhood Securities, including introducing-broker and clearing-broker functions.
• Analyze operational data with subject matter experts and recommend efficiency and process improvements.
• Support automation and dashboard enhancements, including data reconciliation and data-quality projects.
• Build Business Intelligence dashboards using tools such as Retool or Superset.
• Complete and present a capstone project addressing a real operational challenge to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
• Expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Experience performing analytics using SQL or Python.
• Interest in brokerage operations, risk management, market infrastructure, and fintech.
• Clear communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to attend the Chicago office in person at least 3 days per week.
