PeopleX Insights & Analytics Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Menlo Park, California, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Salary: $36 per hour in Compensation Zone 1

What you will do

• Develop and refine predictive models for workforce trends, including attrition risk and hiring velocity.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL and dbt to transform people data into reliable, real-time insights.
• Support scientifically backed survey methodologies and always-on employee listening strategies.
• Create visualizations and dashboards that translate organizational data into executive-ready insights.
• Collaborate on AI-driven workflows for analyzing and summarizing unstructured feedback and internal documentation.
• Define metric dictionaries and maintain a semantic layer for core People KPIs.

Requirements

• Pursuing a graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field, with expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Summer 2028.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Portfolio or projects demonstrating the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work from the Menlo Park office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Previous HR-related internship or co-op experience.
• Familiarity with Workday, Slack, and Google Suite.
