Software Engineering Intern, Android (Summer 2027)

Location: Menlo Park, California, or New York, New York, United States; in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Contribute to new Android features and products from development through launch.
• Explore and build innovative Android user interfaces and experiences.
• Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and a dedicated mentor throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Retrofit/OkHttp, Dagger 2, Room, and related Android technologies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with expected graduation in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Solid foundation in software engineering and an interest in visually driven frontend product work.
• Familiarity with Android components and experience building or contributing to at least one Android application.
• Experience building, maintaining, or contributing to open-source projects.
• Familiarity with Kotlin, RxJava 2, Dagger 2, and related libraries.
• Self-starter mentality and a proactive approach.
