Senior Director/Director of Engineering in Risk and Performance (FinTech)

What you will do

• Set the technical vision, engineering strategy, and execution direction across the Risk and Performance domains.
• Lead large, distributed engineering teams and their leaders while promoting collaboration, accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Align engineering priorities with product strategy and business-critical initiatives, enabling continuous improvement and scalability.
• Own the health and evolution of multiple products, building capabilities for current and future business needs.
• Coordinate cross-team planning, dependency management, conflicting priorities, and stakeholder expectations across the product area.
• Monitor customer incidents and escalations through to resolution while communicating and executing executive strategy.

Requirements

• Experience and knowledge in investment management risk and performance.
• Demonstrated experience leading and inspiring engineering teams and leaders in medium- to large-sized product areas or enterprise solutions.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, technologies, and methodologies relevant to the FinTech industry.
• Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code in the software development life cycle.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, execution, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to handle conflicting priorities.
