TL;DR
iOS Engineer (Swift) (Fintech/Mobile Platform): Building and evolving the native iOS platform and customer-facing banking app with an accent on performance, reliability, accessibility, and developer experience. Focus on designing shared mobile capabilities, resolving bottlenecks and bugs, improving app quality, and using native iOS capabilities to deliver polished features.
Location: Hybrid in London, with office attendance required 2–3 days per week. Working from abroad is available for up to 120 days per year, subject to having the right to work in the country of choice.

What you will do
- Build and evolve shared capabilities for the native iOS platform, including architecture, modules, design systems, observability, developer tooling, and CI/CD.
- Develop customer-facing features that use iOS native capabilities.
- Improve app speed, reliability, accessibility, and overall customer experience.
- Identify bottlenecks, resolve bugs, and improve mobile performance and quality.
- Collaborate with iOS, React Native, Product, Design, and Backend engineers from early ideas through release.
- Contribute to mobile engineering standards, knowledge sharing, and native development practices.
Requirements
- Professional experience building and shipping production iOS applications with Swift.
- Strong understanding of iOS frameworks and native mobile development principles.
- Experience working on modern, high-engagement mobile applications.
- Commitment to maintainable code, testing, reliability, and strong engineering practices.
- Ability to work from the London office 2–3 days per week.
- Right to work in the relevant country is required for working abroad.
Nice to have
- Experience applying mobile security best practices.
- Collaboration experience with Android engineers using Kotlin.
- Collaboration experience with React Native engineers.
