Director, Product Management (Stewardship Intelligence)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work model with onsite work at least 50% of the time for employees within commuting distance of a hirify.global office

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for the Stewardship Intelligence portfolio.
• Lead and develop the Product Management and Research teams, establishing priorities, operating practices, collaboration, and accountability.
• Improve dataset coverage, methodology, quality, traceability, and timeliness through process redesign, automation, and AI-enabled approaches.
• Partner with Engineering and UX to define, build, and launch product experiences and Data-as-a-Service capabilities.
• Use customer research, market insight, and product data to guide decisions for institutional asset managers, governance professionals, advisers, consultants, and corporate issuers.
• Work with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on product positioning, packaging, launches, adoption, and customer value.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Product Management, Research Operations, Data Products, or a related discipline, including team leadership and strategy for complex products or datasets.
• Substantial experience in stewardship, proxy voting, corporate governance, executive compensation, investor relations, or a closely related capital-markets domain is mandatory.
• Experience delivering B2B SaaS, data, or intelligence products from customer discovery and strategy through roadmap execution, launch, and performance improvement.
• Experience leading research or data operations teams responsible for large-scale structured datasets and enterprise-grade quality standards.
• Track record of improving manual processes through operating-model redesign, automation, or AI while maintaining quality, control, and team engagement.
• Strong communication, analytical judgment, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data-as-a-Service, data feeds, data licensing, or other data-product business models.
• Hands-on experience applying LLMs, machine learning, or intelligent automation to regulatory filings and unstructured documents.
• Familiarity with data provenance, research methodology, quality frameworks, and governance of externally sourced data.
• Experience with comparable market-intelligence providers.
