Staff Field Solutions Engineer (Hivemind)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid workplace. Regular support for international customer engagements across the EURAF region, including Europe, the United Kingdom, NATO, African defense and security markets, and allied partner nations.

What you will do

• Serve as a customer-facing technical expert for Hivemind autonomy solutions across the EURAF region.
• Support customer discovery, technical briefings, demonstrations, technical interchange meetings, and capture activities.
• Translate mission needs, CONOPs, operational objectives, and integration constraints into technically feasible Hivemind solution concepts.
• Partner with Business Development and Capture teams on RFIs, RFPs, proposals, white papers, demos, and customer-facing technical narratives.
• Explain Hivemind capabilities, limitations, roadmap considerations, and integration requirements to technical, operational, commercial, and leadership audiences.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Customer Engagement, and Program teams to communicate customer requirements, technical risks, roadmap gaps, and field feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, field applications engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, autonomy, robotics, defense software, aerospace, or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong technical understanding of autonomy, AI-enabled systems, mission software, unmanned systems, robotics, or complex defense technology systems.
• Experience with customer-facing technical engagements, including demonstrations, technical briefings, proposals, integration discussions, technical interchange meetings, or operational workshops.
• Ability to translate customer mission needs into solution concepts, requirements, demonstrations, and product feedback.
• Ability to work from or regularly support activities in London, United Kingdom.
• Professional fluency in English and willingness to travel internationally for customer engagements, demonstrations, exercises, and internal meetings.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting defense, security, aerospace, autonomy, robotics, or advanced technology customers across Europe, the United Kingdom, NATO, Africa, or allied international markets.
• Experience with autonomous aircraft, unmanned systems, robotic systems, AI-enabled mission systems, or defense software platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Python, C++, Linux, APIs, SDKs, autonomy software, robotics middleware, or technical prototyping.
• Experience supporting proposals, RFIs, RFPs, white papers, technical volumes, or complex capture activities.
• Prior military, defense, aerospace, robotics, unmanned systems, or advanced software experience.
