Product Owner for Data Capture Products (AI)

hirify.global develops physical AI and robotics products that learn from real-world data captured in environments such as factories, hospitals, hotels, and NEURA Gyms.

What you will do

• Own the P&L and commercial performance of the data capture hardware portfolio.
• Define the product strategy and roadmap for teleoperation equipment, data collection suits, gloves, grippers, and related rigs.
• Make build-vs-buy-vs-white-label decisions based on cost, quality, availability, and data fidelity.
• Manage suppliers, OEMs, and white-label partners, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and ongoing relationships.
• Coordinate hardware engineering, firmware/software, procurement, and AI/ML teams to deliver equipment on time and to specification.
• Translate field and NEURA Gym data collection needs into product requirements while owning quality, ergonomics, and reliability.

Requirements

• Technical background in robotics, mechatronics, hardware/electromechanical products, or wearables.
• Software competence covering firmware, embedded systems, sensor data pipelines, APIs, data formats, and multimodal data capture.
• Project or program management experience coordinating engineering, procurement, and external partners.
• Understanding of cost, margins, sourcing decisions, and P&L, with readiness to take full commercial ownership.
• Product owner mindset with the ability to prioritize, make decisions under uncertainty, and take accountability for outcomes.
• Fluent English required; German is a plus. Hands-on work with hardware and external suppliers is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with teleoperation, haptics, motion capture, or wearable sensing systems.
• Exposure to robot learning, imitation learning, or AI/ML data pipelines.
• Previous P&L or portfolio ownership.
• Experience managing white-label or OEM supplier relationships.
