Senior Backend Golang Engineer (Golang)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Golang backend services, RESTful APIs, and stable data contracts.
• Build asynchronous, event-driven communication with reliable messaging, idempotency, error handling, and backward compatibility.
• Develop distributed systems and microservices focused on scalability, resilience, maintainability, and production performance.
• Secure APIs and service integrations through authentication, authorization, and identity-management best practices.
• Build integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other enterprise platforms.
• Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and automated testing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building backend applications and services with Golang, including concurrency and asynchronous workflows.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with AWS, cloud-native architectures, microservices, distributed systems, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, secure API design, and evolving APIs and event schemas with backward compatibility.
• Commitment to automated unit and integration testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, TypeScript, Protobuf, Azure, GCP, Grafana, Prometheus, Keycloak, Auth0, or Okta.
