Tax Intern

Location: Cork, Ireland; hybrid work with a minimum of three days per week in the Cork office. Unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Support direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, data packs, schedules, and working papers.
• Assist with tax reporting, provisioning, statutory reporting, reconciliations, and balance sheet substantiation.
• Contribute to transfer pricing, operational tax, VAT, research, analysis, and tax-related projects.
• Maintain tax records, compliance trackers, workflow tools, process documentation, and audit evidence.
• Review transaction data and support accurate reporting, documentation, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Tax, Finance, external advisors, and other stakeholders on deliverables and process improvements.

Requirements

• Current university student studying business, commerce, accounting, finance, economics, taxation, or a related subject.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and contribute to a collaborative team.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Unrestricted right to work in Ireland for the full internship duration; sponsorship is not available.
