Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply basic engineering and design for excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Establish time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Investigate assembly and system-testing issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment and use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to perform physical duties including extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and distinguish between colors.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of semiconductor or other relevant industry experience.
• General knowledge of the semiconductor industry gained through education or experience.
