Compositing Supervisor (VFX): Managing compositing teams and delivering photoreal visual effects for feature, episodic, and commercial projects with an accent on Nuke, 3D packages, colour continuity, and efficient workflows. Focus on developing pipeline strategies, mentoring artists, monitoring shot progress, and solving creative and technical challenges under tight deadlines.
Location: 100% remote within Australia only

What you will do
- Manage compositing teams and delegate show compositing requirements.
- Develop workflow and pipeline strategies for efficient artist operations.
- Deliver high-quality, photoreal compositing with consistent colour across shows and formats.
- Balance hands-on workstation work with mentoring artists, monitoring shot progress, and tracking resource usage.
- Coordinate deliverables and show requirements with Production Management.
- Take direction from the VFX Supervisor while solving creative and technical problems under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Must be able to work remotely from Australia.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Compositing Supervisor.
- Expert knowledge of Nuke and 3D packages, with a proven record of delivering photoreal work quickly.
- Experience leading and training compositing teams, with strong communication, artistic, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Experience on feature and episodic projects.
- Strong understanding of colour correction, blue and green screen, roto, mattes, and tracking technologies.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
