Lead VFX Artist (Game Development)

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the VFX team, set priorities, manage resources, and ensure deadlines and quality targets are met.
• Partner with the Studio Art Director to establish consistent artistic and technical direction across all VFX.
• Oversee the VFX pipeline from concept and prototyping through implementation, iteration, optimization, and final delivery.
• Collaborate with Art Leads, Producers, Gameplay, Tech Art, Engineering, and internal and external partners.
• Define VFX standards, workflows, tools, and best practices for performance and platform requirements.
• Participate in recruitment, mentor VFX artists, and support team development.

Requirements

• Lead-level experience in VFX art for games.
• Strong artistic expertise combined with team coordination and visual direction skills.
• Experience managing VFX production from initial concepts through final delivery.
• Ability to work with proprietary engines and in-house tools.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary game development teams.
