What you will do

• Monitor, analyze, triage, and respond to security events from SIEM, ticketing, email, chat, and phone channels.
• Support incident response, digital forensics, SOAR, IAM, UBA, DLP, malware response, endpoint protection, and perimeter security activities.
• Provide tier-one operational and analysis support for security monitoring, firewalls, proxies, web application firewalls, endpoint security, DLP, and application security technologies.
• Administer daily security technologies and investigate security dashboards, incidents, outages, and internal customer issues.
• Support security assessments, control monitoring, policy and standards maintenance, metrics reporting, compliance activities, and remediation follow-up.
• Help protect customer data, technology platforms, and infrastructure while keeping current with emerging threats and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Current sophomore or junior graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Familiarity with operating systems, applications, security concepts, and at least two cybersecurity domains such as network security, endpoint security, DLP, IAM, incident response, or security monitoring.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, security architectures, troubleshooting principles, TCP/IP, routing, NAT, TCP/UDP, HTTP, SMTP, and DNS.
• Understanding or interest in cybersecurity governance, compliance, risk assessments, control testing, security policies, metrics, and remediation tracking.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, detail-management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be available for the full internship period and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. H-1B, TN, OPT requiring future H-1B, and green card sponsorship are not available.
