Marketing & Communications Officer (North)

Location: hirify.global Grizedale, Hawkshead, Cumbria, or hirify.global Bellingham Office, Eals Burn, Bellingham, Hexham

Salary: £30,105 per annum

What you will do

• Support delivery of the Marketing and Communications strategy for North District.
• Create engaging visual and written content promoting district-wide activities and projects.
• Tell the story of the nation’s forests and communicate their benefits for climate, nature, people, and the economy.
• Promote recreation, ecology, forestry, heritage, civil engineering, fundraising, estate management, and related work.
• Increase the district’s visibility and encourage people to visit the nation’s forests.
• Support teams in achieving their business plan objectives.

Requirements

• Experience relevant to marketing and communications, supported by a 200-word career history statement.
• Ability to produce clear and engaging visual and written content.
• Ability to communicate accurately in spoken English is required.
• Successful candidates must complete a criminal record check and the government Baseline Personnel Security Standard check.
• Ability to work from one of the specified North District offices.
