Facilities Engineer (AI & Digital Solutions)

Location: BangPa-in, Thailand; onsite at BangPa-In Building 2

What you will do

• Conduct HVAC feasibility studies, cooling-load calculations, psychrometric analysis, air-distribution design, and technical design reviews for production expansion and cleanroom requirements.
• Monitor and maintain temperature, relative humidity, particle count, and differential pressure to keep production utilities qualified and compliant with ISO 14644 requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex HVAC failures, perform root cause analysis, prepare 8D reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate project handover to Operations & Maintenance, including AutoCAD as-built drawings, technical training, spare-parts lists, and maintenance manuals.
• Supervise HVAC contractors during high-risk work and enforce safety protocols while production remains operational.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional experience in electronics or high-tech manufacturing, including knowledge of ISO 14644 and controlled-environment requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of chiller plants, AHU/MAU systems, psychrometric analysis, cleanroom airflow, pressure balancing, and humidity control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and BMS/BAS control logic.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, 8D/CAPA, CAPEX project management, communication, and contractor-supervision skills.
• Interest or basic experience in data analytics tools such as Power BI and openness to using generative AI for documentation, troubleshooting, and process automation.

Nice to have

• Professional practice license from the Council of Engineers Thailand.
• Knowledge of energy-saving technologies, low-GWP refrigerants, and sustainable industrial facilities.
