TL;DR
Senior iOS Engineer (SwiftUI & Swift Concurrency) (Swift 6, SwiftUI, Swift Package Manager): Building and maintaining a modern native iOS application with an accent on modular architecture, secure identity-verification journeys, reusable UI components, and real-time communication. Focus on designing concurrency-safe features, integrating authentication and third-party SDKs, and ensuring reliable testing, performance, signing, and App Store delivery.

Location: Athens, Attica, Greece; hybrid workplace

What you will do

  • Own, develop, and maintain a native iOS application using Swift 6 and SwiftUI.
  • Build modular, reusable SwiftUI features with Swift Concurrency, Swift Package Manager, and internal packages.
  • Integrate backend APIs, authentication, identity services, and real-time communication using SignalR.
  • Develop secure identity-verification and device-capability journeys with Jumio, NFC, camera, biometrics, and Face ID.
  • Write unit and UI tests, participate in code reviews, and improve application quality and architecture.
  • Manage DEV, UAT, and PROD configurations, code signing, provisioning, releases, and App Store distribution.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience with Swift and native iOS development, including production SwiftUI features.
  • Strong knowledge of Swift Concurrency, including async/await, actors, actor isolation, and MainActor-aware UI development.
  • Experience with Swift Package Manager, modular applications, backend APIs, authentication, third-party SDKs, Keychain, Xcode, Instruments, and iOS debugging.
  • Experience writing unit and UI tests with XCTest and XCUITest, managing build configurations, code signing, provisioning, and multiple environments.
  • Familiarity with Git-based collaboration, code reviews, Agile delivery, and strong communication and ownership skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SignalR, Jumio, KYC or identity-verification SDKs.
  • Experience with NFC, camera, Face ID, secure mobile onboarding, and reusable SwiftUI design systems.
  • Experience in fintech, wallets, payments, or financial-services mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of iOS CI/CD, Azure DevOps, localization, image caching, SVG rendering, and App Store distribution.
