Product Strategist (Digital Products & AI)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, USA; hybrid work with at least 2 days per week in the office or on a client site, potentially up to 5 days per week on a client site

What you will do

• Lead client discovery to identify operational pain points, lost value, and worthwhile product opportunities.
• Define product requirements, priorities, acceptance criteria, success measures, and business cases.
• Translate business challenges into digital products, AI-enabled solutions, and intelligent workflows.
• Shape AI adoption by determining what to automate, where human oversight is needed, and how outcomes should be evaluated.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, change, process redesign, and adoption from discovery through implementation.
• Create reusable approaches, assets, industry insights, and market-facing capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience in product management, product strategy, consulting, or a similar role delivering technology-enabled solutions.
• Experience leading discovery, defining product direction, building business cases, and measuring value realization.
• Deep expertise in at least one industry sector and the ability to work with operational and executive stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of AI-enabled products, including agents, retrieval approaches, automation, and the limitations of modern AI systems.
• Experience delivering technology solutions with multidisciplinary teams from concept through implementation and adoption.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, commercial judgment, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting, professional services, or an industry leadership role.
• Experience in healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, energy and utilities, transportation, or consumer industries.
• Experience with change management, operating model design, process transformation, or technology adoption.
• Experience using data, analytics, AI tools, SQL, Python, or similar approaches.
