Software Engineer (React)

Location: Bengaluru, India; hybrid work with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams to understand requirements and estimate development work.
• Design and architect microservices for enterprise account administration.
• Write maintainable, scalable, testable code and services across the stack.
• Own services from inception through deployment, monitoring, SLA compliance, and production issue resolution.
• Research technologies, deliver new features, and improve user experiences and site reliability.
• Participate in live site reviews and collaborate with Designers and Usability Researchers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• 6+ years of experience with frontend technologies including React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or VueJS.
• Experience with a backend language such as C#, Java, C++, or Node.js and full-stack development using object-oriented programming.
• Experience with object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, agile development, Git, and continuous integration and deployment tools.
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work from the Bengaluru office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building scalable and maintainable services and consuming or developing RESTful web services.
• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, React, cross-browser behavior, and telemetry.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies such as Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about new technologies and tools.
