Senior Software Engineer (Go, Node.js)

Location: Pune, India; in-person onboarding and/or identity verification may be required.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of a browser-based factory layout and discrete event simulation application.
• Develop clean, secure, maintainable, well-documented, and performant software.
• Apply event-driven architecture and cloud technologies, including AWS S3, OSS, and RDS.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to improve development, debugging, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate agile ceremonies, and support adherence to agile principles.
• Mentor junior engineers and help ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience building and delivering robust commercial web applications.
• Strong object-oriented programming, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and a frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Backend development experience with Node.js or Go, plus Progressive Web Application development.
• Experience with MySQL or MongoDB, Jenkins or comparable CI/CD tools, AWS services, event-driven architecture, and AI-assisted development tools. Strong English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic software-development workflows, including Spec-Driven Development or comparable practices.
• Experience creating reusable AI-assisted workflows, prompts, rules, skills, or agent configurations.
• Experience optimizing AI model selection, prompts, context, token usage, quality, latency, and cost.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science.
