Fullstack Developer (Vue/Node.js)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy web application features from requirements through production.
• Add functionality and resolve customer-facing bugs in an existing web application.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of new and existing user interfaces, including prototypes and screenshots for stakeholder review.
• Create, modify, and maintain RESTful web services and applications using Go, GraphQL, Vue, and related technologies.
• Participate in estimation, design reviews, peer code reviews, and Agile Scrum activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver feature dependencies and improve product quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience with front-end and back-end applications.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript frameworks such as Vue and Angular, Node.js, WebSockets, RESTful applications, and microservices.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, object-oriented design, Linux or POSIX environments, and responsive, scalable, secure systems.
• Familiarity with software configuration management, defect tracking, peer review, documentation, and technical writing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software, Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with satellite communication protocols, embedded device web interfaces, and networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, and IPv6.
• Knowledge of C++, Java, SQL, relational databases, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Go, Conan, and CMake.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Bootstrap, C++11, and development tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, SharePoint, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
