Full Stack Software Engineer (Golang)

Location: Beavercreek, Ohio, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Design and implement new software capabilities supporting Air Force digital transformation.
• Resolve issues in existing code and improve system functionality.
• Integrate capabilities with external services and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members.
• Communicate project status and technical details with customers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• At least 3 years of professional experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant STEM field.
• Experience with RESTful web services and server-side languages, preferably Golang, Node.js, or Python.
• Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular, React, or Vue.
• Experience with version control and bug or issue tracking software such as Git and JIRA.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and ownership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployment.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Secret security clearance or higher.
