OSS And Operations Automation Engineer

Location: Full-time office-based role at the Gurugram office, India

What you will do

• Manage monitoring, customer support, OSS, and operations automation systems for support, customer service, technical support, NOC, network operations, and production engineering teams.
• Gather requirements, define workflows, prepare business requirements and user stories, and translate operational data into technical solutions.
• Design, implement, test, release, and maintain scalable solutions across Linux and AWS using REST APIs, message buses, OAuth, and webhooks.
• Deploy and optimise Prometheus, Grafana, OpenNMS, Nagios, Alerta, and Alertmanager for observability, telemetry, and network assurance.
• Develop and administer Salesforce Service Cloud and Jira workflows, automations, integrations, dashboards, and CI/CD processes.
• Provide Level 3 troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, documentation, vendor coordination, and scheduled on-call support.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in IT, telecommunications, or cloud systems engineering across business analysis, OSS/BSS, Salesforce, and Atlassian administration.
• Experience with open-source monitoring, SNMP, MIBs, streaming telemetry, MPLS, network management systems, and AWS networking.
• Strong Salesforce Service Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Data Cloud, Flow, security, and release-management experience.
• Advanced Jira administration, workflow and scheme design, Jira Automation, webhooks, and JQL skills.
• Strong Python and Shell scripting skills, with experience in databases, Linux administration, AWS, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to lead cross-functional delivery, work in Agile distributed teams, manage stakeholders, and participate in 24/7 emergency on-call support.

Nice to have

• Salesforce, Atlassian, business analysis, Agile, cloud, analytics, telecom, or network certifications.
• Experience with Groovy, JavaScript, Node, Vue, Perl, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
