QA Engineer (Cypress)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid model with three days per week in the office and two days remote. Working hours are 11:00–20:00 EEST three days per week and 09:00–18:00 EEST two days per week.

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality internal tools and production code.
• Build and maintain test plans and comprehensive test scenarios during initiative planning.
• Perform story-level, exploratory, regression, performance, and security testing for platform releases.
• Manage test automation execution, investigate issues, and communicate or escalate test-plan variances.
• Increase test automation coverage and improve QA processes for greater efficiency.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a QA Engineer supporting B2B SaaS web platforms.
• Strong functional testing and data-testing skills for data-intensive applications.
• Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or similar test automation tools.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
• At least 3 years of experience writing and executing SQL queries with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle.
• Must currently be authorized to work in Bulgaria without visa sponsorship; Green Street does not sponsor or transfer employment work visas.

Nice to have

• Shell or Python scripting experience.
• Experience with security testing tools such as Veracode.
• Awareness of effective web UI/UX.
• Experience testing web-based Excel Add-Ins.
