Technical Lead (Vue.js)

What you will do

• Own the technical direction of the email builder team and lead architectural discussions, decision-making, and documentation of tradeoffs.
• Contribute directly to the codebase while improving architecture, scalability, performance, maintainability, and reliability.
• Drive complex technical initiatives, refactoring efforts, high-impact deployments, and cross-team engineering projects.
• Promote shift-left security, data privacy, observability, testing, and system reliability practices.
• Mentor engineers, support technical growth, and partner with the Engineering Manager on team growth and hiring input.
• Own system availability, lead incident reviews and post-mortems, and work with QA Engineering, Security, SRE, and platform teams to improve production quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and shipping high-quality software, including 5+ years of technical leadership within engineering teams.
• Strong experience designing scalable web applications and APIs, with knowledge of software architecture, data modeling, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Strong JavaScript expertise; Vue.js is preferred, while React and other mainstream frameworks are also considered.
• Experience with server-side technologies such as PHP, Node.js, Golang, or Python, and with relational and document databases including MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, refactoring complex systems, monitoring and observability, containerization, and Git-based workflows.
• Active hands-on use of AI agents in day-to-day software development, plus strong communication, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.
• Experience building high-performance or high-availability applications.
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts.
