What you will do
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable digital banking software and customer experience features.
- Own services end to end and deliver clean, production-ready Java code in an Agile environment.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, and engineers to translate business needs and user stories into technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation, system diagrams, proof-of-concepts, and debugging reports.
- Conduct peer code reviews, monitor delivery and performance metrics, and optimize system and development workflows.
- Participate in Agile planning, daily scrums, product demos, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- 5+ years of software development experience using Java.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, concurrent programming, transactional systems, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Oracle, PostgreSQL, BigTable, BigQuery, NoSQL, Pub/Sub, Data Flow, and multi-tenant cloud technologies.
- Experience with native and hybrid cloud environments, Agile development, Git, Maven, Java IDEs, Tomcat, JSON, XML, YAML, and Terraform.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or GitHub CI.
- Knowledge of secure solution design, multithreading, and concurrent backend environments.
- Familiarity with Ruby, Python, Perl, Node, Bash, C, C++, Docker, and Kubernetes.
