Baseband (L3) Software Design Engineer (C++)

Location: Remote, based in Hanoi, Vietnam

What you will do

• Participate in feasibility studies, system design, implementation, integration, and commercial deployment of baseband L3 software.
• Design, develop, and maintain C++ software for wireless communication systems.
• Apply 3GPP, LTE, and RAN knowledge to product development.
• Optimize software for multi-core and multi-threaded environments.
• Debug, troubleshoot, test, and integrate software using Git/Gerrit workflows.
• Support product deployment and stabilization in customer networks while collaborating with international and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Wireless Communication, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional C++ software development experience and 2 years of software design or development experience.
• Experience with multi-core software development, multi-threaded programming, debugging, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git/Gerrit-based development workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with telecommunications, wireless communication, or RAN products.
• Familiarity with 3GPP standards, especially LTE.
• Experience with eNodeB, baseband, RAN, or other wireless communication systems.
• Experience in large-scale, international, or cross-functional software development teams.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
