What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java, focusing on live chat, live streaming, video playback, recording, and video calls.
- Build intuitive interfaces in collaboration with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
- Translate product requirements into reliable mobile features and optimize memory usage, network calls, rendering, and overall application performance.
- Test and debug applications across Android devices and operating system versions.
- Manage Google Play Store submissions, updates, and compliance with platform guidelines.
- Provide technical support, maintain documentation, contribute to continuous improvement, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- Proven Android app development experience and a strong portfolio, especially involving video and streaming features.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- In-depth knowledge of Android Jetpack, AndroidX, ExoPlayer, Android Studio, and Android testing practices.
- Experience developing live streaming, peer-to-peer video calls, broadcasting, real-time chat, and video-related functionality.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, performance optimization, debugging, unit and UI testing, and Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Firebase, including authentication, real-time databases, and cloud functions.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Relevant Android development certifications.
