Senior Android Developer (Ad SDK Infrastructure)

Location: Remote within Europe, Albania, Poland, Romania, or Ukraine

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain native Android advertising SDKs used in production.
• Implement SDK features while preserving stability, backward compatibility, and release quality.
• Design and support SDK architecture, packaging, versioning, and release processes.
• Maintain Maven and Gradle distribution pipelines for SDK delivery.
• Create automated and device-based testing solutions and investigate complex defects and integration issues.
• Support external publishers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve SDK reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and Java and proven experience developing native Android SDKs or libraries.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK architecture and lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Maven Central, JitPack, Gradle plugins, versioning, release management, and dependency handling.
• Practical experience with automated and device-based testing, production reliability, and release-critical environments.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher; ability to work effectively in a distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted testing and test coverage optimization.
• Understanding of mobile advertising, AdTech ecosystems, SSP platforms, ad servers, and banner or video advertising.
• Familiarity with tracking beacons, pixel-based analytics, open-source SDKs, and third-party publisher integrations.
