Technical Architect (AI)

Location: Remote-friendly hybrid role based in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City; staff are expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time. Travel of 30–50% is required.

Annual salary: $250,000–$365,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead public webinars, customer workshops, multi-day onsite sessions, office hours, and multi-week technical cohorts.
• Run train-the-trainer programs and certify customer technologists and champions to deliver Anthropic training materials.
• Guide enterprise administrators through SSO, permissions, connectors, spend controls, data-handling policies, and other rollout requirements.
• Create polished presentations, demo repositories, and plugins with Claude Code and related tools.
• Share detailed customer feedback with the Claude Code, Claude Tag, and Cowork product teams.
• Partner with account executives, customer success managers, Applied AI Architects, support engineers, and partner leads.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, developer advocate, or in a similar role.
• Current software engineering experience, including shipping production code and teaching engineering audiences.
• Experience presenting to large live audiences and delivering technical material under changing conditions.
• Ability to discuss software design in depth across the technology stack and use Claude Code or a similar agentic tool regularly.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time and travel 30–50%.

Nice to have

• Enterprise identity and security experience with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, SOC 2, or HIPAA.
• Experience running Claude on Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI.
• Experience with regulated industries or systems-integrator partners.
• Public technical teaching experience through talks, courses, videos, or writing.
