Engineering Specialist (Sputter Maintenance)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W3. Onsite role in a clean room environment with a 12-hour shift pattern. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion of sputtering equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and follow up on chronic machine problems.
• Work with equipment and process engineering on tool reliability and product defect reduction.
• Initiate projects focused on equipment OEE, productivity, safety hazards, and cost reduction.
• Apply data analytics and machine learning tools to support equipment troubleshooting and improvement.
• Develop knowledge of vacuum technology through training and continual learning.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or a Diploma/ITE qualification.
• Knowledge or experience in mechanical systems or electronics.
• Good problem-solving skills and a positive, self-motivated working attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and in a clean room environment.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift pattern.
• Data analysis and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Previous clean room experience.
