Engineering Specialist (Sputter Maintenance)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W3; onsite clean room environment with a 12-hour shift pattern

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversions on sputtering tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and follow up on chronic machine problems.
• Work with equipment and process engineering on tool reliability improvements and product defect reduction.
• Initiate projects to improve OEE, productivity, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Use data analytics and machine learning applications to support equipment troubleshooting.
• Develop knowledge of vacuum technology through training and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or an ITE qualification.
• Knowledge or experience in mechanical systems or electronics.
• Data analysis and Microsoft Office skills.
• Self-motivated, positive, and able to solve problems collaboratively.
• Willingness to work in a clean room and on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Clean room experience.
